To preserve Eʋe culture, support members' welfare, foster cross-cultural understanding, and promote development and poverty reduction in the UK as well as Volta and other regions of Ghana where Ewe people reside.
Primarily to bring together the Eʋe ethnic community from the Volta, Oti, and other regions of Ghana, with the view to positively maintain, promote, and preserve culture, traditions and heritage.
Also to provide social and welfare support for members, forge strong links and good working relationships with the UK public, and other cultural groups aligned with the Association.
We will promote understanding between members and other cultures and initiate and support development and poverty reduction projects targeted at Ewe people in the UK and Ghana.
Organize cultural events, festivals, and workshops to celebrate and educate members and the wider community about Ewe culture and traditions.
Preserve and promote the Eʋe language through educational programmes and materials.
Promote intercultural dialogue and understanding through events, discussions, and partnerships with other cultural organisations.
Encourage members to participate in multicultural activities and exchange programmes
Foster strong relationships with the Ghana Union, the Ghana High Commission, and other related associations with similar aims and objectives in the UK. We will collaborate on joint projects and initiatives that benefit the Ewe community in the UK, Volta, and other regions of Ghana where appropriate.
Identify and support projects aimed at reducing poverty among Eʋe people
Partner with local and international organisations to source funds and implement poverty alleviation programs.
Providing welfare assistance and support to members of the Eʋe community.
Forging partnerships with public and cultural entities for stronger relationships.
